It’s inevitable that every writer reaches a point in their journey where they ask, “What’s next?”
The Screenwriter’s Studio will answer that question in an entertaining, relatable way, regardless of the viewer's intent or skill level.
Resources
Nashville Education, Community, and Arts Television (NECAT) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission that is two-fold:
- Expose middle TN viewers to arts and education programming created both locally and around the world.
- Teach individuals and organizations who wish to make TV shows how to do so, let them use our equipment and resources, then broadcast those shows for them.
The Tennessee Screenwriting Association ("TSA") began meeting in 1987 and was chartered in 1988 as a 501(c)3 non-profit, educational organization. The TSA is governed by Bylaws and a volunteer Board of Directors. TSA's mission is to:
- Promote the art and craft of screenwriting.
- Support the screenwriter in the application of his/her skills.
- Provide a pipeline for information and opportunities to network with other writers and film industry professionals.
Tennessee Film Industry Statistics:
- 5th in the nation for employment in motion picture/Video Production
- 64% growth rate in motion picture/Video Production employment over the last 10 years.
- 19% growth rate projected over the next decade in motion picture/video production employment.
- $424 million in annual Gross State Product produced by the motion picture/ video production sector.
